Air Source Heat Pump

An air source heat pump (ASHP) is a device that transfers heat from outside to inside to heat, and in some cases, cool a building. It works similarly to a fridge in reverse, by absorbing heat from outdoor air, even at low temperatures, and using a refrigerant to pump this heat indoors. This in turn heats your home through radiators or underfloor heating. It can also heat water stored in a hot water cylinder for your hot taps, showers, and baths.

ASHPs are an energy-efficient alternative to traditional heating systems because instead of generating heat by burning fuel, they move it from one place to another, reducing energy bills and carbon emissions.
